It's not as important as you think

Note: The DSLR is not as important as a lens in your gear bag.

Nikon D7200 DX

The Nikon D7200 is my current camera body. I chose this body because it fit my needs and my budget.

Nikon D5300 DX

This was the first DSLR I bought with the intention of learning how to use. Currently my backup.

Note: A good chunk of glass can make an entry level DSLR look pro.

Rokinon 16mm f2DX

Not the sharpest peice of glass in the world but its gets the job done.

Nikon 35mm f1.8FX/DX

You cannot go wrong with this lens, it is legendary in every way possible.

Nikon 18-55mm f3.5-4.5DX

The word sharp should not be used in the same paragraph as this lens.

Nikon 70-300mm f4.5-6.3DX

Same as the 18-55mm in the sharpness department but it will work in a pinch.

Note: I haven't tested some of this gear yet.

Lowepro ProTactic 450AW

This is my favorite camera bag I have used. There is room for just about anything in this bag.

Lowepro PhotoSport 200AW

I use this bag for when I need to go light weight, carrying only a few lenses. Mostly used for hiking.

Benro SLIM Carbon Fiber Tripod

Weighing only about 2 pounds, you cannot go wrong with this tripod. My only gripe is that it isn't very sturdy.
